Identifying causes of gearbox failure is a crucial step in preventing future equipment failures.

To determine route cause failure we perform visual inspections combined with both oil and vibration analysis. These diagnostic techniques along with a complete mechanical inspection are usually required to determine failure and the repair methods required to get units back into operation.

Gear lubrication - oil analysis

Gear lubrication is also an extremely important for the lifetime and condition of the gearbox.

In many cases gear and bearing problems result from either contaminated or insufficient oil which in turn leads to bearing failure, gear tooth damage and metal to metal contact and abrasive wear.

We also operate our own fully equipped machine shop:

We have the facility to carry out all our own machining requirements for shaft repairs, end-shield repairs, keyways and any other mechanical requirement to ensure a quicker turnaround on our own repairs.
